Today I’m posting about something that quite a lot of us forget to scrap about – Ourselves! I’m going to cover 3 different ways we can do it. I usually scrap about my 3 boys and rarely get behind the camera myself but I’ve tried to change that over the past few months since I realized I don’t have very many photographs of myself, which is quite sad really.
Sometimes I take a random selfie, maybe to use as a new profile picture on Facebook, then I’ll decide to scrap it when Traci releases the perfect kit to go with it, like this one using Stay Weird which was pink and didn’t really go with my boy photos so I used it to scrap about myself
Then there’s this page which I did to document my weight loss and half marathon training progress, another good way of keeping track of how things have changed over a few months. It’s definitely good to take photos of things like this because it’s only then that we realize how far we’ve come, if I didn’t have these photos I’d feel the same. This one was made using the Get It Girl Bundle, it was the perfect kit to go with my photos.
Another way to get in on the action is to get in the photo with the children (or pets if you have them!), my 2 year old loves it when we take selfies as things can start to get silly, and what better way to remember the memories than to scrap them. Traci’s Sergeant Sillypants kit was perfect for our silly selfie layout.
Thanks for reading my post and I hope it has made you want to get in front of the camera and scrap about yourself more
